The Children’s Spanish Camp runs Monday through Friday, from 8am to 2pm and this is sample of the activities offered:
We will have a surf lesson each week, an adventure tour, and a cultural exchange, in addition to games, classes, art, beach time and lunch. Each week, tours and activities will be rotated in order to give our students the widest possible range of experiences in Costa Rica. Tour options include an Estuary Tour, Zip Lining Tour, Sailboat Tour, Farm Tour, and the Playa Conchal Beach Tour.
The main part of the camp takes place in a beautiful outdoor space in a private beachfront resort; this allows us to do most of our activities outdoors in the fresh air. The space is large, with a thatched roof, plenty of fans, shade and bathrooms. We have access to the resort’s swimming pool as well as other amenities to conduct our games and activities. Each day we will have our Spanish lessons, which are combined with different cultural activities, beach time, traditional games, art classes, adventure tours and surfing lessons on Fridays.
Every Sunday at 4pm, we welcome all new families to our Spanish School for a Camp Orientation. It is very important that children and adults attend this function. The adults will meet with the Camp Director, Massi Devoto who will go over the weekly activities, time schedules and expectations.
Playa Tamarindo is located on the Northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica and is a world-famous surfing destination with different breaks, ideal for surfers of all levels and abilities, from beginner to advanced.
